Are you looking for the best psychologist in Bathinda?
Do you have ever felt existential depression?
Do you feel like you are going to living on autopilot with no higher purpose?
Do you feel a hamster on a wheel, stuck with the same dull routine every single day?
Do you feel, that you are not doing your part to leave the world a better place than you found it, probably or maybe you never can?
Then probably, you’re looking for a psychologist, psychiatrist, or counselor?
If you're dealing with these kinds of existential thoughts that make your depression much harder to deal with, then if you ask me according to my experience you might have a case of existential depression.
What is Existential Depression?
According to Eggshell Therapy and Coaching, existential depression is a crisis, that arises when one can find easily symptoms and confronts issues such as the meaning of life, isolation, death, and their place in the world.
Existential depression is if you see and feel what others don't feel in the same way.
Existential depression is when you are about the gap between, what it will be and what is right now — both in yourself, others, and the wider world.
Well, from what I know, it commonly affects your idealistic individual with ethics, high moral standards, and a burning desire for freedom and authenticity. Folks with these qualities you are striving to live on their own terms, no matter what the cost. Therefore, it's no surprise that all of the existentially depressed people I know are creative
, rebels, trailblazers, or proverbial black sheep.
Then, How to fight with Existential Depression?
As you can imagine, existential depression is incredibly difficult to deal with but it can be healed with the help of timing.
Personally, I've noticed that if left unchecked, it can become all-consuming. I've seen it leads to reckless behavior, addiction, self-harm, suicidal attempts, and death by suicide. The only way I know how to manage it is to first acknowledge and accept it without an assumption that someone is mentally broken or deficient. And It is perfectly normal to experience this things while suffering with existential depression when you are an intense, emotionally intelligent, ethical human being.
Once you have accepted the way you are feeling without self-blaming, the second step is to take small actions toward living on your terms one day at a time.
On as a whole level, you cannot change and control the world or other people and it will never happen. Therefore, you can do the next best thing is change and control our own actions.
